Greetings Loved Ones,
I have fabulous news, my paranormal m/m romance, Adel's Purr has been accepted by Silver Publishing. This will be the third title for me and the second book scheduled for release in 2011. It's shaping up to be a very busy new year and I'm loving every minute of it.
Adel's Purr is a romance between Adel, a gargoyle, and Evan, a handsome young man with the powers of an earth elemental. It is set in the not so far future, after a biological war. I won't go into great details but this is the first book in a series that I am hoping will be enjoyed. I know I'm having a lot of fun working on it and now that it has been accepted the real work begins. Yes, I'm again talking about the author's nemesis... editing. LOL...
I'm also participating in the Free Fiction blog being sponsored by Silver Publishing called Silver Flash. A number of authors from Silver Publishing will be offering Free Flash Fiction on Wednesdays under the Cover Badge - Silver Flash. My first contribution to the Silver Flash will be 02/16/2011. So watch for it and if you are interested in seeing what is being offered, check out the Silver Flash authors contributing this week by clicking on the link to their blogs. I hope you enjoy them, I know I am!
Wishing you Love and Butterflies,

Adel's Purr
Greetings Loved Ones!
I'm deep into my edit of my newest story. This is going to be a paranormal m/m romance and it's part of a series. The first book is called Adel's Purr and no Adel isn't a shape shifter of any kind. Adel is a gargoyle who falls for an earth elemental named Evan. I don't want to give up the storyline but I'm having a blast with it and I think you will enjoy it too.
Of course I'm in the middle of the edits stage and as always, I truly dislike this part of the creative process. It's a necessary evil but after awhile all the words start to blend together for me and I end up going and doing something else then coming back. I am one of those people who's mind makes corrections for them without actually catching the errors. In other words the sentence may say 'thy made the arrow' instead of 'they made the error' and I will read it 'they made the error' every time. I have found that reading the entire work out loud does help with this problem. It also makes dialog better.
Okay enough about my clumsy writing process. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are having a fabulous new year. Be on the look out for Dark Chocolate and Raspberries it will be releasing April 2011 from Silver Publishing. Until then...
