Review: Fire Margins

Fire Margins
Fire Margins by Lisanne Norman

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

There was a lot of world building in this book. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first ones in the series. It was more about the politics and religion that formed the world than the interpersonal relationships of the characters. It was hard to keep focus and there are sections that it took everything I had to keep reading. The story line is great but I could have done without all the unnecessary politics. It slowed down the story and really drew me away from the characters I've grown to love. Still a good story and I'm still going to read the next book but I hope it moves better than this one or I'll be skipping ahead from sheer annoyance.

Review: Fang Tango

Fang Tango
Fang Tango by Astrid Cooper

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another excellent volume in the Monsters Ink series. I really love this series and the editing was better in this volume than I've seen in the past. I found the idea of a kangaroo shifter priceless and loved every minute of the building love between Radan and Andrew. I have to admit, I didn't expect Andrews issues or the reasons for them. It was a nice twist. I can't wait to get the next volume. If you are looking for a good paranormal story where the characters are out of the ordinary, their issues are heart felt and honest, then I whole heartedly recommend Monsters InK.

A Royal Bind - Changing Moon 2

Greetings Loved ones,

I'm so excited! I got my artwork for A Royal Bind today. Reese Dante really did a wonderful job. I'm thrilled and I think the models are very handsome. It is available for pre-sale now and will be released September 15, 2012.

Here's the blurb for the story. I'm in the middle of edits on this work now, so as soon as I am able to post an excerpt I'll have one up and ready for you.

Blurb:

Lance Fitz and Andrew Reed are a mated pureblood shifter pair. But being mated does not mean all their problems are solved. Assassins are trying to kill Lance and there are so any suspects the enemy could be friend or foe.

Lance wants to free Andrew from his master vampire, Stephon. Andrew thinks of the vampire as family, but when Stephon mentally attacks, Lance wants to rip the vampire apart. As he defends his lover and new family from the vampire's vicious assault, he vows to free them all.

Will the pair be able to free Andrew before they are attacked again?

Who knows what can happen under a changing moon.

Wishing you love and butterflies,
Sui Lynn~~
