Dark Chocolate and Raspberries

Greetings Loved Ones,

Things are rolling along for Dark Chocolate and Raspberries this last week. I received my edits and as always it's a love/hate kind of thing. As an author, you love your stories and want to see them become the best that they can be, yet it is always difficult when your editor and you may not have the same vision for the story. The editor's vision of the work may not be the same as you intended originally. That doesn't make their vision wrong or your vision wrong, just different. It's a work in progress and sometimes it pulls a bit a the heartstrings. Like anything though, your editor is doing their best to make your story the best it can become and you have to work together to accomplish that.

I also received the list of possible models for my cover. Basically it's going on a man hunt, for the right look for the guys on the cover of Dark Chocolate and Raspberries. Let me tell you, that was no chore at all... YUMMY!!!  That was an absolute blast! What can be better than looking through pictures of hot men deciding which best represent your characters. Oh Baby!

Now I need to get back to work and get the edits done ... LOL...  I've said it before and I'll say it again, editing is not my favorite part of the job.
