Stone Heart - Coming Soon!

Greetings Loved Ones,

I just got my artwork for Stone Heart and had to share. I know some of you have really been waiting for this book, and now it will be releasing in it's entirety on March 31, 2012.

Reese Dante did an excellent job! I love it.

Blurb:

Justin Anderson is running from a past that refuses to let go. He finds refuge in the renovations of an old gothic church. But the church has its own secrets, Gargoyles. Living stone, they protect those within from evil. It's been a century since they've been seen. But Justin sees them.

Cullen sits his post as he has for centuries, guarding the souls of those who enter the church. But the church, old ad rundown, has been sold to a private investor. A man he finds he's drawn to and feels incredibly protective of.

Justin dreams, of warm arms and dark wings, are his only comfort when he's attacked by a stalker, offering him an illogical sense of security through the night, accompanied by the beating of a Stone Heart.

  2. I've got rather mixed feelings about this. The first three books/chapters weren't cheap considering how short they were but I bought them since I liked the story a lot. Then I had to wait impatiently for the last one only to learn that I basically have to pay twice for the story?

    Not good at all.

  3. If it helps, Stone Heart ended up being 10 chapters, plus an epilogue which the previous publisher would have released as it's own book as well. At the rates the previous publisher was charging the entire book would have cost you over $10.00. With the books you've already paid for, I can assure you, that even purchasing the new release in it's entirety, you will not be paying $10.00 for the book.

I do feel bad that Wicked Nights went under. It has cost a number of authors to have issues similar to this. Unfortunately I can't return your money, as it was never paid to me by the defunct publisher who went under without paying royalties to their authors.

The most I can assure you is you ultimately will pay less even though you purchased chapters individually, than you would have Wicked Nights had stayed in business.

This may or may not help but at least you know the situation Wicked Nights has left me in.

  4. If I get that many extra chapters when I buy the book, then I definitely won't complain. Like I said, the ones I already read were great.

  5. I'm glad you enjoyed what you've read so far. All together, there are 10 chapters and the epilogue. The book ended up being 35,000 words.

  8. I'm new to your books and have only read Adel's Purr and got hooked! Great work by the way... My question is if you have a booklist or reading order for your books because this new book seems to fall in along with the gargoyle world but doesn't follow with the story I've read already. I'd like to read more of your books probably all of them... but would like a solid book listing. Can I get a little guidance? Thanks and keep the awesome reads coming! :-)

  9. Hi Evi,

They are actually 2 separate series of books. Adel's Purr is not related to The Pauper Prince.

Adel's Purr is the first book in a series called Elements of Love. The second book in that series called Nico's Fire is scheduled to be released in May.

Stone Heart which is coming out in March is written in the same world as Adel's Purr, except it's written in current time, before the war. It's just a little side story and not related to the main storyline for Elements of Love.

The Pauper Prince is the first book in the Changing Moon Series. The second book, A Royal Bind I just received a contract for today. It will be out in September.

Sorry I realize it's a bit confusing and I don't have a website just yet, but I'm working on it. :)

I'm glad you are enjoying my work.
