Review: A Lion's Heart
A Lion's Heart by Crymsyn Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a different take on both 'demigod' books and shape shifters. I really enjoyed it. The characters are well written and even though I'd have liked a bit more depth or understanding in why Ra was so against their relationship it was still a good story. It seemed a bit superficial that Ra is so angry and forcefully against the relationship. There is a hint that it might have been jealousy but nothing is ever really gone into great detail. The story is told from the point of view of Reseph and as the human in the relationship and a priest to his god, he doesn't seem to question his gods motives too much.
I think it could have been fleshed out a bit more, but for a short story, it was very good. I enjoyed it a lot.
