Adel's Purr an M/M Romance - Work in Progress

Greetings Loved Ones,

So I'm working away on Adel's Purr, my gargoyle love story that will be coming out in July and a friend asks me to come out to her house and help her with a project for her wedding this June. I'm thinking, flower arranging, maybe addressing envelopes, something along those lines. No that wasn't it ... she needed help painting. Her theme for her wedding is Steampunk. She and her father built a Tardis and she wanted my help painting the thing. Now an artist, I am not. Painting is not my thing under the best of circumstances. Her Tardis is over 7ft tall and currently a close shade of blue to pictures I've seen of he original. It did't take us long and I as soon on my way home to continue my edits ... almost done. Unfortunately I came away with blue paint in my hair, on my jeans, and covering my white shirt ... which I wore before knowing we were going to be painting. LOL...

It's all good. the painting is done and tomorrow she will be stenciling the lettering over the door. I applaud her creativity and sense of fun, but as I am much older than she is, I wonder what she will think of her Steampunk wedding when she is in her 40's looking back at her wedding pictures. Knowing her, she will love them and laugh at the fun she had.

Okay, about Adel's Purr--I truly love this story and I'm excited about the possibilities that seem to be jumping out at me from all directions in this world. This is the first book in a series called Elements of Love. It is the story of Adel, a gargoyle and Evan an earth elemental. They live in a futuristic world, not all that different from our own. Evan has the power to awaken gargoyles and to mold them as he wishes. Adel is an ancient gargoyle searching for a mate and finds a maker but instead of asking the maker to create a mate for him, he falls in love with the maker himself. Throw into the mix a corrupt government run by the Church and officials hunting them down because his power is an abomination and example of mankind's inherent violence and you have the basics of Adel's Purr. So keep an eye out for it and I'll keep you updated on my editing ... editing ... editing...

Wishing you Love and Butterflies,

Sui Lynn~~

  2. Thanks. I sent a little note to Reese because I had forgotten to give her an element I wanted included in the cover and she told me she hadn't started it yet but would be starting it next month. I'm so excited to see what she is going to come up with for it.

  3. That's not surprising, I haven't heard a word about FLOM yet, and it comes out in June. I hope she isn't having trouble with it. I bet AP will be gorgeous!

  4. Knowing Reese's work, I'm sure FLOM will be Fabulous! I'm really excited to see what she comes up with. I gave her the basics of the story and the descriptions of the characters but told her to run with it and surprise me.
