Silver Flash - Foxe and Hund : 1

The Foxe and Hund

Greetings Loved Ones!
Welcome to this week's Silver Flash! It's been a while since I've joined the ranks of the Flashers and felt a new story was in order. That doesn't mean you might not see more of Micah and Daniel some day but for right now I'd like to introduce you to TJ and Zane.

Please feel free to click on the links to the other Silver Flasher's blogs at the end. As always I love to hear your comments and I hope you enjoy the story.

Just a reminder this is a M/M Romance, so if you aren't interested in beautiful men in love with each other, then this is not the site for you. If you enjoy a good gay romance with lots of love and hot men, then this is the place for you.  Please enjoy.

As always, wishing you Love and Butterflies,
Sui Lynn~~

Foxe and Hund : 1 - 07/13/11

Prompt: Okay, I paid the twenty bucks. What do the cards say? or Somebody's got to stop him.

TJ Foxe  liked to strut his stuff.  He felt it helped him to get into character. Exiting the men’s locker room, he stood in the hallway, waiting for his partners for tonight’s operation to come out of the ladies’.  Once he was all dressed up in the gold lame spandex hotpants and mesh half-shirt, he couldn’t seem to keep from strutting. He was pretty proud of what he’d done; he thought he’d outdone himself by finding a pair of gold boots to match his outfit. The other guys in the squad teased him relentlessly but it took work to look like a professional rent boy. The outfit was just the beginning. There was hair and makeup to consider, then props—like finding just the right manbag to accessorize as well as to hold his gun and cuffs. It wasn’t like he could have his weapon hidden in his hotpants. Not the police issue one, that was.

How he’d gotten tagged for this a few years ago, he wasn’t sure. He could guess that it was his natural charm, good looks, and youthful features… but no, it was most probably because he was gay and the only guy on the force willing to dress up like a rent boy.

Regardless of the reason and all the ribbing he took from the other guys on the squad, it was an important job and he was proud of it. Sextrade was illegal for a reason, many of the guys involved weren’t there because they were nymphos who wanted to sell themselves for money and way too many were under-aged kids. His was a worthwhile job that needed to be done and if he didn’t care about the men in his community who were being abused, then why should he expect the straights to do it for him?
TJ knocked on the ladies’ room door and hollered,

“Chop chop ladies… times a wastin’. Those slimeballs aren’t going to arrest themselves, you know.” TJ eyed his fingernails to make sure he hadn’t chipped one when he knocked on the door. That would’ve just started his evening off with a bang.

Dixie and Flo emerged, in miniskirts and torn nylons, too much make-up and wigs that would make Auntie Mame roll over in her grave from shame.

“Dixie, new color for you. I like the blue better than the green you had last week.” TJ grinned.

“Hey, after that guy puked in my hair, I wasn’t about to try and clean it. I trashed it and started over.” Dixie laughed.

“Ugh, TMI girl,” TJ teased.

The three of them walked through the station amid wolf whistles and cat calls from their fellow officers. They good naturedly gave as good as they got, TJ blowing kisses to one and all as they made their way through the building.

Please don’t be there… please don’t be there… please… TJ chanted to himself as they made their way past the detective’s cubicles. If he could just get past before…

“Okay, I paid my twenty bucks. What do the cards say?” The familiar voice of Detective Zane Hund could be heard. TJ frowned. Zane was not the type to— they came around the corner to see Zane and his partner Patty Christenson just as she laid her cards on the table.

“Read’em and weep. Aces over ten’s. You have to finish the paperwork. I’m going home to my husband and kids.” Patty laughed as she grabbed her purse and saw the group headed for the garage. “Ladies,” Patty greeted them. She was good people, unlike Zane, who was a constant pain in TJ’s ass.

“Oh look, it’s the golden boy in his big boy pants. Have a good night out there, ladies.” Zane sniped , rolling his eyes.

“Put a sock in it Zane, or you might just get some of that attention you’re looking for.” TJ harped back at him. He pointedly strutted his way out with the girls in tow. Why someone so handsome had to have such a crappy personality he’d never know. The man was at least six foot and a nice muscular 180 pounds, with not an ounce of fat to be seen. He had thick, short brown hair that had a dusting of black mixed in for good measure and the largest pair of golden brown puppy dog eyes. Too bad the man seemed determined to hate him. From the moment TJ’d first walked through the door, Zane’d had nothing but snide comments every time he saw him.

TJ pushed all thoughts of Zane out of his mind, concentrating on the job ahead. He and the ladies had a job to do, gutter slime to put behind bars.

He worked on psyching myself up for the job ahead…

“Hey stop him… don’t let him get away.” TJ heard from behind, He quickly turned around to another chorus of, “Catch him! Somebody’s got to stop him.” And the thunder of running feet headed their way.

  1. Great start to your new series, can't wait to see more! Zane makes me think of either Billy Zane or Zane Grey lol

  2. Zane always strikes me as a rebellious name, a troublemaker.

  3. Sui this is a great beginning. I know that Zane's gruff exterior is just a cover. I bet he has been checking TJ out for a while now. (were you thinking of TJ Hooker when you came up with this name?)

    Zane is a great name.

  6. Alright, if you insist! lol

I got that from the name of a great bbq place used to be around here. Not much to look at, a little hole in the wall, but the bbq was the best ever. They closed years ago and I still miss them!
